Policies updated July 2026

Order Cancellations

  • You may cancel your order at any time, but please note that your deposit will not be refunded.

  • If you cancel after the animal has gone to the abattoir, you may still be responsible for the remaining balance of your order if we are unable to resell the meat.

  • If you are unable to pick up your order within a reasonable time after delivery is confirmed, we will do our best to accommodate, but storage capacity is limited. Please stay in touch to arrange pickup.

If you have questions or need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance.

  • Once the lamb has been processed and the final balance paid, all sales are final.

  • We do not offer refunds for changes of mind, personal preference, or missed pickup windows.

  • If there is an issue with your order (e.g., incorrect cut instructions or a packing error), please contact us within 48 hours of pickup and include photos if applicable. We will assess the situation and do our best to make it right.

Disputes

  • We strive for transparency and fairness. If you have concerns about your order, please contact us directly at honeychurch.abby@gmail.com or 780-999-3953 so we can work together on a resolution.

  • Disputes related to meat weight, cuts, or packaging must be raised within 48 hours of receiving your order.

  • Because each lamb is unique and cut to customer preferences, minor variations in weight or cut style are normal and not grounds for dispute.

We value our customers and want every experience with Honey Church Farm to be positive and fair.

Food Safety Concerns

If you believe your product is unsafe or compromised (e.g., signs of contamination, spoilage, or packaging issues), please notify us within 48 hours of pickup or delivery. Include:

  • A detailed description of the issue

  • Clear photographs

  • Any symptoms or food safety concerns, if applicable

We will assess the situation in consultation with our abattoir.

Return Eligibility

Returns may be considered only under exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Confirmed contamination or product adulteration, verified by the abattoir or CFIA

  • Incorrect fulfillment (e.g., wrong order delivered)

All returned product must remain frozen and intact, and may be subject to inspection.

Please note: due to federal food safety laws, returned meat products cannot be resold. As such, returns are handled with care and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
